I am ready to try the SDfix again...Problem is I can not get into Safe Mode. Keeps getting hung up on a process as it is listing all. I will write it down next time, It may help someone explain it to me.

Also What setting (& where can I locate it) may cause my WMP 11 to make my speakers sound busted? I have installed a new sound card (not the prob). I have installed at least 10 different media players this week to just see what I liked. In all of those the sound was fine. Songbird, Winamp,VLC, Itunes, Monkey,Foobar2000, K-lite, Qtime, MusicMatch & a few others. I really like the layout and fuction of WMP 11. Any Suggestions on how to fix my sound problem. Any thoughts on GOM Player, SMplayer, KMPlayer, AIMP 2,...I must have ripping & burning ability. I have read good things about AIMP2 think I will try it tonight.

Maybe you should try some general housekeeping such as:

• chkdsk
  
• delete temp file
  
• defrag
  
• virus scan

Personally I like VLC.
