When anyone sends me a link to something, I cannot open it. It just sits there and nothing happens. If I send it to my other computer, it will open. What is the problem? Both computers are XP with service pack 3 installed. I thought it might be service pack 3, but it is on both computers, so that isn't it...

Thank you for this information. I went to the site, downloaded the "hot fix" and installed it. I see not difference. I still cannot open links. Is there any other solution?

I have windows XP and use Internet Explorer 7 and Outlook Express 6
I really believe it is a windows update causing this, but not sure and wouldn't know which one since this has been happening for about a month now.

Well...what makes you say that you think a Windows update is behind your situation?

What is that notion based on?
