Hello, this is my first post to a forum, I hope it's in the right place.
Anyways my question involves a DRM stripping program called TuneBite.
First, claims are made that this program removes DRM componets from audio tracks legally.
Second this program is supposedly safe except for the fact that it can track other applications.
Does anyone have any knowledge on this subjects?

Hi there!

It looks like the WOT rating is good, and it is referenced in trusted blogs. It seems legal!

TuneBite re-records the file stripping away the DRM.
They claim this is legal - in the way a VCR records TV.

Thanks for your input, I sincerely appreciate your time! I still wonder if I would run into any trouble if I used it for "rented" a.k.a. subscription tracks from my rhapsody account. I pay a monthly fee to listen to unlimited songs on my computer but would have to pay 89 cents to put them on a portable player or CD. I've read that this would work... I then read that it wouldn't work for subscription tracks. I'd like to know before I download since I heard from multiple sources that it is a messy program to uninstall. Has anybody actually used this program or know anything else?
