Hello to evryone,

I´m using Windows XP Prof. SP2 for several years! Last week I got infected by CALLSYSNT.EXE, wich seemd no big problem to myself! It was detectet by Zonealarm and sent to quarantine! And my PC was still running fine, and is still running fine! The only nerving thing was the Popup every restart whichs said that some registry enty was seeking for this dumb CALLSYSNT. So I decided to get rid of this entries manually. No problem, the system is still running, just one problem, i found an entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, Userinit C:\WINDOWS\syste32\userinit.exe ,\\ something .. callsysnt.exe !

Instead of just deleting the something callsysnt.exe, yes I deleted the whole entry! :flowers:

This had the following effect that XP is still running, the login window appears and if I login, the desktop load a bit and the then sends me back to the login window, on every aacount!

Can some assist me to solve this problem, if there is a way to fix it?

Can you boot to "last known good configuration" or safemode to get out of the loop?

Try last known good configuration or try to book in a safe mode.

To load the last known good configuration in Windows XP reboot the computer and as it's booting booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu".

If that works, see if you can do a system restore based on a system restore point. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.

Thank you guys for your hints,

but there is no last good config! XP boots up normally and starts all services, just not the userinit service! When I shut down the system, XP sets new restore points, including the registry. Like I said, it behaves comletly normal, as it should!

This also takes effect on the safe mode and all the ohter modes, accounts!

It is just like leaving home, and after you closed the door you realize that you left the doorkey inside. Now you are looking for a way to get back inside, a small opened window!

I hope to find a way trough the reapir console in the DOS mode, but im no expert in DOS!

Maybe there is someone who is an can assist! If not, its no problem, I am loosing only few data, but it will take about 1 1/2 day to reinstall the system at it was!

Thanks anyway for your hints!
