I have a limited account for my young children to use. I set parental controls on to mainly filter web sites. I dont log anything (yet anyway) and dont have a password on my admin account. Vista constantly informs me, with a pop up bubble, of my admin account not having a password. How do I let vista know that I JUST DON'T CARE that there is no password? I dont want a password. I will deal with this when my kids are older.
I have tried 'change how windows alerts me' but that doesnt have anything to do with passwords.
Thank you.

Hi Caspersim,
My name is Ron, and I’m a part of the Windows Outreach Team. I thought I’d take a second to jump in here.
One of the security upgrades that you see in Vista is a heightened alert program, this helps users know when they might be at risk. By not entering a password, you are keeping that red flag up for the system and it is trying to remind you that you might be at risk.
I did some searching and found basically the same thing you did, the alert changes you can make won’t affect the password alerts.
Your best bet is creating a password for the admin account.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Ron Windows Outreach Team
