BleepingComputer.com: Error 311 No wired adapter detected

Hi I was trying to setup my linksys wireless-n broadband router on my dell pc. I have cox highspeed internet and its connected through an ethernet cable. I go to run my the setup cd and it trys to detect my connections but says error 311 no wired adapter detected. I have my local area connection enabled and the internet works, but when the set up wizard trys to detect it it some how disconnects the connection?? I then have to manually enable the connection again. please help

Might be a crappy version of the software. Once you get the internet by manually enabling the connection, check the manufacturers website for an updated software/driver.
