hi ,i am a newbie.i am trying to figure out this thing.see the computer hardware is manufactured already.{the connections in the processor,mother board i mean}.but how are we able to load the computer with a variety of OPERATING SYSTEMS,a variety of PROGRAMS to do different tasks.Guys please do not get annoyed ,kindly reply

I am not sure I understand your question. are you asking how an operating system and other software is stored on a disk, or the steps that happen when the operating system is loaded?
