Uninstall Adaware 1.05? Downloading and Installing Adaware 1.06

When downloading and installing Adaware Personal 1.06, should I uninstall
1.05, change the desk icons etc? If yes, then WHEN should I uninstall the
1.05 program and, how? Thank you, missfilippa.... have been ill again...

As I remember, when you install 1.06 it will recognise the old version and ask at that time if you want to uninstall 1.05. If, however, you want to be on the safe side, you can use the control panel's install/uninstall function to delete the prior version, then download, install (and check for updates) the newer.

You remember correctly. I just did this yesterday. It asked me, just as you said. I'm assuming of course we're talking about Lavasoft product going from 1.05 to 1.06, right?

BTW the name is Ad-Aware. I gather there's a bad fake under the Adaware name someplace lurking to get us :thumbsup:
