Hi starcraftmaster
VMware Workstation will indeed allow you to run an operating system within another.
You say you want to run XP within ME. I am guessing that if you are running ME then perhaps your PC is fairly old and might not be up to running VMware. It would be best to vist their site and check out the system requirements for running it. http://www.vmware.com/products/ws/
Note that you can trial VMware for 30 days before you have to part with your money.
There are alternatives to VMware
Microsoft's Virtual PC is free and can be found here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en However it is not supported on ME.
Sun's Virtual Box is also free and can be found here http://www.virtualbox.org/ Again you will need to check out the system requirements for running it.

Hi
I can't be 100% sure but I would say that this is a view of the BIOS through the Virtual Workstation.
The problem is that you are using an out-of-date operating system. I doubt if you will be lucky enough to find a program that will allow you to run XP on a virtual machine that has Windows ME or 9X as the host operating system. I also doubt if your CPU and memory would be up to it.
Sorry, but I am unable to help any further.
