That sounds like a good start. GO into your firewall and check to see that the following items are listed and enabled under system services.

1. NetBios (Ports 137-139 (TCP))
2. Remote Procedure Call - RPC (Port 135 (TCP))

If they aren't listed, try adding them as allowed/enabled and try "Net Send EEEPC Test". I hope this works, lol.

Did you add them to your exceptions list? If your unsure how to add them to your exception list, i can help you just tell me what firewall software you are using. Either wise, add them both as listed above and perhaps Net Send EEEPC Test should work.

Use the following steps to add a service port to your firewall exceptions list:

1. Open up your firewall software.
2. Go into system services (usually its called that)
3. Click Add or New
4. Type a name, such as NetBios.
5. Under TCP Ports, type "137-139".
6. Click OK. Note:You may need to click "Apply" if there is an option.

7. Click Add or New
8. Type a name, such as Remote Procedure Call.
4. Under TCP Ports, type "135".
5. Click OK. Note: You may need to click "Apply" if there is an option.

I have my doubt that the firewall would cause it, because as we determined yesterday when I type net stop messenger and net start messenger the command suddenly works. Despite the fact that it is or is not in the firewall. What do you think?

Ive tried almost everything i could so far, and my only last idea would be firewall. I was acually thinking that could be the problem yeserday. But i do understand what you mean. But its also worth the try though , its fast and simple

Would you mind if i ended my troubleshooting here? If you confirm and say yes, i will no longer be helping you on this topic.

Yes that is alright. We do have a sort of fix with that net stop and net start. Once I find a fix I will let you know.
