BleepingComputer.com: Registry problems

Hi everyone, i hope i am not posting in the wrong area. when i start internet eplorer i get the following message;

The procedure entry point _resetstkoflw could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll

I have had a search on the internet and couldn't really find out how to sort out this problem. I hope someone here can help me?

I am no expert, but try this

start command prompt, but you need to run it as administrator, to do that you need to right click on the cmd prompt icon and the option should be there

then type

sfc /scannow

see if it comes up with anything, this may require you to have your windows disk to hand

i don't have my windows disk

give it a go anyway.. might not need it

You can also to a System restore to a date prior to this trouble. You won't need the disk to do this.
