Java error youtube

Hi, when I try to veiw any vid on youtube it says you have javascript turned off or get latest flash player here, I click the link and install latest flash but still same . It was all working this morning. How do I see if java is on?

It's not Java. It's Javascript. Not the same thing. First you need to uninstall the old version of Flash and then install Flash 10 from the Adobe website. This link will take you to the Flash Uninstaller.

Yes ,its working, your brilliant,. What I cant understand is ,when I was on youtube and no vid came, I got auto prompt to get new adobe flash, it didnt tell me to uninstall though, and it didnt work. I did it 7 times. And why did it go wrong anyway?
