how to prevent dreamweaver changing my code when i open file to edit myself

I have dreamweaver MX and wish to know where in the settings i can turn off the feature that automatically changes my code when i open the file for editing myself.

it always move code down a few lines and adds tabs and spaces which messes up my layout for easy code reading!

hope someone can help me out here.
