I don't like the fact that I have to turn Zone Alarm off to get my email - any ideas as to what is going on here. I don't into a program like this much once I set it up first time.

Hi adnamA52. You need togive your email client (like Outlook Express, Outlook or Thunderbird) permission to go out to the internet and access the mail server. If you have already blocked access then you will need to go to the Programs page in Zone Alarm and change the permissions from blocked to OK.

Here is a pretty good tutorial on ZoneAlarm configuration: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1618&page=3

Cheers.
