Hi!
I am not as computer literate as I would like to be, so I need some help.
I have been trying to get my Sony DCR-TRV80 DV camcorder to download still pictures & video to my computer. The software that came w/ the camera is Pixela. After downloading the soft ware, I could not get the computer to recognize the camera(that's another problem for another day). So while I was in the program my curosity got the better of me, and I started exploring the software. I found a section for audio and stupidily clicked on a large speaker. As soon as I did, I heard a sound as if something was starting, but nothing happened, other then that sound. Ever since then, I am not able to get any sound. I even un-installed the Pixela program, but that did not help.
I have tried all the obvious (that I know of):
-The speaker on the toolbar on the bottom of the desktop
-Start/settings/control panel/sound
-The speaker in Windows Media Player
Any way, if anybody can help me get sound back it would be very much appreciated.
I have never backed up my computer, but if there is any way to take the computer back to the way it was a week ago I would try that if it is possible. However I don't want to totally nuke windows and and reinstall everything, if I can help it.

If you have system restore enabled, you can use it to go back to a restore point prior to the installation of the program, assuming you have ME.
