What is the top bar List such as; File----Edit----View-----Image , called.

I am teaching some one, a beginner, (everything I know in 3 minutes), how to use

paint and want to refer to these items.

BTW just off the top of your head is there a good tutorial, for Paint Version 5.1 for beginners to teach the basics ?

I think it is called a "navigation bar." There should be all sorts of Tutorials available on line, but since I don't use Paint, I cannot recommend any.
Cheers,
John

I believe pretty much "navigation bar" is a generic and the "File Menu" group, such as "file, edit, view, favorites, tools, help" is often labeled the "Menu Bar".

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!
