message queuing

to start with I fell and broke my arm. so i am having a hard time with the computer. my sister and son in law was using my computer, ever since i keep getting this message queuing service must close and in the error report the message queuing trigger is alsp needing to close. Also it takes my dsl forever to come on. even taking longer to boot up. i have searched for this error but am confused on what to do to correct this. maybe 2 many pain killers. thanks for any help i can get

Sorry to hear about your injury...we'll see what we can do to alleviate some of the computer-related pain :flowers:.

First question: Do you have XP Home installed and is SP2 installed?

From what I understand of what I read...this application is not even included with XP Home.

DSL, like cable, is supposed to be on all the time...unless the user shuts down the system. Anyone with DSL or cable should always have an Internet connection, if all things are functioning properly.

Are you referring to the time between your pressing a browser button...and actually having the webpage appear in the browser?

i have xp pro. on my dsl it use to come on when it boots up. now i can play a game before it connects, so that i can open my browser. i read the article and maybe even more confused must be pain block :thumbsup: will keep with you as much as i can
