cant find SHELL.DLL cannot install printer drivers/utilities

When we try to install printer drivers and utilities for our new printer we get file error cannot find SHELL.DLL then cannot find file E:\Drivers\English\Setup.exe(or one of its components). We use windows xp and have been hijacked in the past but system seems ok now. Would appreciate any help.

FALSE ALARM!! Researched and followed the instructions a Merijin.org and problem solved.

You must have gotten hit with a particular hijacker in the past. What version of windows xp do you have?

Yes. Hijacked then rescued last month at SWI.

Copy the shell.dll file from c:\windows\system32\dllcache to c:\windows\system and to c:\windows\system32
