This random thoughts thread will get to 1000 pages much faster than the 1000 pages thread!
Are there any quantum particles named snarks or boojums? I am not a physics nerd, but heard references to The hunting of the snark by the mathematician/fantasist/comic poet Lewis Carroll today. What do snarks and boojums look like anyway? They bring Maurice Sendak illustrations to mind. Sorry, too tired to think of something elegantly incoherent and funny at the same time, even if it would be a quote! |
