I think you folks have created a new class of angels: the boophim, who mediate between the earthly realm and the realm of electronic emanations:

Congratulations on your birthday to the first Boop, messenger of the electronic deities!

Nope. And I wasn't wearing my glasses... plus I have a dirty mind to begin with.

First, when I searched WikiCommons for appropriate angelic images last night, I saw the word Nippes, had taken 3 years of French in college, but had no idea what it meant. Thought it was some kind of last name. I do have the translation option in Firefox/Google, but there wasn't that much writing in that entry last night, which was the English entry, certainly nothing to suggest the connection with Putz, which like many Yiddish insults, refers to certain male body parts. Here the entry, "junk" was particularly appropriate. Just wasn't there last night!

Also, my Hebrew is very rusty. im is the plural form for male-gender nouns. So I imagine the BC angel (which could be a kind of honorary award classification, in honor of boopme), would be booph, which sounds even more hysterical than boop.

When reading my BC messages in webmail, I had absolutely no idea why Andrew thought a mod would remove my entry. Then I logged in to BC to read the forum directly. Ha!

Again, happy birthday, to the very angelic booph boopme!

Simply because of my personal vendetta against all fuzzy and/or wuzzy persons found online, and especially those connected with the number 6. Nothing personal, mind: it's the voices. They make me do things. Sometimes, late at night when they think I'm asleep, the voices argue with each other. I like that because if they're arguing with each other, they leave me alone, for a little while.

I knew a very well known Mod that said she heard voices... and some of them had some very good ideas. :flowers: :trumpet:

Andrew, it is a far, far better thing for the voices in your head to be racing than for your own thoughts in your head to be racing.

If the voices are racing, it'll be much harder to listen to them. Then you can fall asleep. After eating cake and drinking sake. But if your own thoughts are racing:

I don't drink sake! Why does everyone think I drink sake?! The voices tell me that it's a vast conspiracy against me by the Japanese Alcohol Commission. I think they're right...
