BleepingComputer.com: I think I screwed up my computer...Please help me out!

HI!
I downloaded lots of stuff today because my computer was a bit slow, now it's not working properly. Internet is dead slow. Pages come up partially loaded with IE can not display page message. It took me half an hour just to sign up on this forum.
This is what I downloaded and ran:
Zone Alarm, Spyware Warrior, Erunt, NTREGOPT, Malwarebytes', mvps (personally I think this might be it, but i don't know what to do to get rid of it). I also updated my Windows. I have a Norton package and I disabled the firewall since I now have Zone alarm.

I don't know what info I need to give you. Please let me know so that I can fix this with your help, otherwise I'll be bringing this baby in and wiping it clean.

If you connect to the Internet using AOL, a custom dialer, through a Local Area Network (LAN) or a remote proxy server, using a HOSTS file may not work. Using a remote proxy server (which does the DNS requesting for you) prevents the HOSTS file from being used. The browser will route its request through the proxy server before your machine looks up an entry in Hosts. The DNS serivce needs to be disabled and computer rebooted for the HOSTS file to take effect. Failing to disable DNS service will result in slow performance per MVPS instructions.

How do I disable the mvps HOSTS File?
I also discovered that the Zone Alarm Firewall I downloaded had a spy blocker with it. After I disabled the Zone Alarm Spy Blocker the computer ran a bit better, however it's still slower than usual. I have Norton Spyware protection installed, so I guess it was too much.

Thanks! I used HostXpert to reset to Microsoft Default. Honestly didn't know what to do with the other instructions. Just goes to show you shouldn't download something you don't totally understand.
