Hey guys, ok here goes...

Equipment:

1. Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop. (Connected via Wireless)
2. Assembled Desktop. (Connected via LAN)
3. Netgear Wireless Router WRG614V6
4. File And Printer Sharing Enabled

Ok, So I kind of use my Desktop as a backup for my files on my Laptop.

I was wondering if there is a way to auto-sync my Laptop with my Desktop so that the folder I choose to sync will autpmatically be updated on my Desktop.

Like the Movies and the TV Shows that I download and my Music. I would like it that when I connect to my home network, all my data would automatically be upto date on my desktop.

Is there any program or setting that can help me do this? I just need it as a backup incase my laptop crashes. And I hate updating every little thing.

Thanks in advance guys.

There is 2 ways you can accomplish this, setup offline files or setup a briefcase, both are given links below:

Note: You will need to make sure "fast user switching" is disabled in order to setup offline files.
Setup Offline files

OR

Setup Briefcase

I hope this helped. ;)
