I needed to get rid of McAfee, I downloaded their tool and went through the drill. Seemed to work Ok but I am having trouble trying to install KIS, I can't activate using my customer ID & password. In speaking to a buddy he said to check the registry, sure enough there is a bunch of keys related to McAfee that I am not able to delete. I spoke to another fellow that said being as I never activated Macfee that the removal too will not get rid of it all and it will be a problem. Can anyone shed a little more light on this??
