I was in progress of rebuilding an old (~2003) HP computer and I went to take out the old motherboard and the screw on the upper right corner was in so tight it wouldn't budge and therefore the head of the screw was bent from trying to unscrew it. I've tried pliers but I can't get a good grip on the screw since it's really small and there's not enough room without possibly damaging the motherboard which still works well.
Does anyone have any ideas or should I just buy a new case? I don't have a drill to use a screw extractor and if I'm going to buy a drill, I might as well get a new case since this one has a power button that looks like it will break soon.
I just wanted to add, I just found out that the screw that is stuck/damaged is the standoff screw.
