I use an online backup service to backup my system. Do I really need to keep System Restore enabled? It's using "a lot" of disk space that I would like to reclaim.
TIA

System Restore backs up your "system state" (your registry, among other things).
Also, if the computer won't boot into Windows to get your info back (from the online backup) - how will you recover?
You can decrease the size of the System Restore storage if you'd like and this will save you some space.

Good point.
I've re-enabled it and reduced the allowed usage space.
Thanks for the needed tip and advise.
