BleepingComputer.com: annoying psu

ok my psu is dieing
somes thing is wrong with the fan and its making lots of sound and its annoying and some times the fan stops and the computer gets over heated
so i want to replace with the psu out of the computer in the back room
now i think it will fit and all but i dont know if it will work i think the psu in the back room is more watts and then the one in the computer since i seached it on google

soo can you guys tell by the pictures i will give you now

i have cleaned the old psu with commpressed air but that didit do much

The are both 20-pin ATX PSUs so it should be just fine.

Just a word of caution, I wouldn't go poking around inside that PSU, there are capacitors that will hold a charge for weeks.

Scary looking caps in that second pic.

One on the right looks like a leaker.

if there goning to leak then the top of the cap goes up right?? and the blows up
well thats part of the mother board so it dont matter all thats matter is i can take out the psu and put in the other computer
so you guys SURE the psu will work in the other computer

I wouldn't suggest that it was if I hadn't checked to be sure. By the way... google is your friend.
