Extracting a zip file from Windows Vista

Can someone in detail explain to me how to extract a zip file from windows vista? Thanks

If it is a standard .ZIP file, you can double-click on the ZIP to see what files it contains and copy and paste any of the files you want extracted. Just right-click on the file you want and select copy, go to where you want the file to be extracted to, then right-click again and select "paste". Alternatively, you can right click on the ZIP file and select "Extract All..." to extract all files using a simple wizard.
