Video Card Problems

Whenever i play any games on my computer, after a while, it will get really slow. I think the problem is in my video card. Can anyone help? I use a dell. And have an ATI Radeon 9000

Have you updated the drivers lately? Also, have you cleaned the case out lately? Does this happen in all games?

No. I haven't updated my drivers or cleaned out my case. I'm not too sure how.
And yes, this happens with all games, whether they are online free games, or cd games.

Also, note that your video card is old so many newer games will not be able to run very quickly anyway. You can download drivers for an ATI card here: AMD/ATI - Drivers & Software. If you are using a laptop, you may not be able to update your drivers from ATI.

thanks for the help. but now i think that the problem isnt in my video card. i uninstalled it and replaced it with an omega driver, and it is still slow when i play games. i'm pretty sure its a virus now, but havne't been able to locate the virus with virus scans.
