playing the computer on the tv

hello every one
today i got my windows me computer and hooked it up to the tv just see what it looks like
its looks ok but the color is real crap and its wired
but thats not much of a problom but any help with that would be good but i think i can fix that by my self
see my sound card has a port so i can connect it to the tv to get sound well i think its it since it looks the same and all . so i go to the yamaha control panel and make so it will play sound though that and all and for some reson the tv plays no sound lol

theres two slots right audio and left and i tryed both of couse and i know they work because my wii works lol

any help would be good
the sound card is a yamaga ds-xg

What sort of TV? Regular sets have a very low resolution and color depth.
Right click the desktop - choose "Properties".
Click the "Advanced" tab and adjust the settings to get the best picture.
For the sound I just plug my cable into the green audio port and the other
end with the red/white connectors into the TV.
I can not reach the site: yamaha-xg.com so i don't know what "port" you mean.

welll you know how theres a video out port on the graphics card will this looks like one but its for sound

iknow its out input becasue i can hear music coming out of the tv but its not load its very not load lol u need to put your ear next to the sterio
