Ever since I was forced to use my recovery dvd to fix VISTA after an unrecoverable crash that damaged and corrupted my drivers,
I have been unable to turn up the volume on my laptop to a decent level at all.
The sound is working and so are my speakers because when i test the audio device the test sound (Jingle) plays at the correct volume.
It also plays at the correct volume when I configure the Speakers so it cant be a driver problem can it?
I`ve tried connecting external speakers (VERY) loud ones but It`s still low.
The Master Volume and all levels are at max.
It cant be the Apps i`m using I dont think, because all system alerts (Beeps ect. ect.) are low too.
Please help, It`s driving me insane!

I`m using an advent laptop with VISTA home premium.

I would appreciate any help or advice at all. Thanks.

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
