Well...I'm a shamanic pagan with Dragon for a totem, so that's where the lizard part comes from...and I've only been online for about a year, after 10 years offgrid, so all the new developments make me a little dizzy...so there you have it...

Well, Istra is a county where I live, and it was my second option. Third option is DotMatrix, which I used a couple of years ago when I wanted to give an impression that I know more about computers than I actually do. I didn`t want to use it here, with all thouse people who can walk the talk.
Now I usually use name Nena everywhere I have to log on, but here it was taken two years ago by a person who signed up and never came back. I`m sorry for this, Nena is MY name. I gave it to myself when I begun to speak, and here is the story.

When I was born, my very large family gathered and opened a diskusion about a propper name for me. With so many people involved, 4 days passed, time was running out, they had to choose a name to register me (is this expression O.K.?). Finally, they agreed to name me Jelena, after my grandma. Unfortunally, my mother was just a kid, 19 years, and she said that Jelena is name for an old woman, a baby should be Jelica. In croatian, this is deminutive, like Helenie for Helen.

Even worst, she use to baby talk to me and used Lelica, Lulica, Uica; very humiliating actualy but I couldn`t say it. mad.gif Name Jelena has some dignity, people can not ignore person with this name. Jelica sounds like a person isn`t complete, like something is missing. mellow.gif

When I was abuot year and a half old, my aunt visited us and said: "She should have been named Jelena." I imidiately started to speak "Enena" when somebody called me those silly names. Mom gave up, now I am Nena clapping.gif.

My next words were:"I`ll do it by myself" which is in croatian very short "sama cu", and mom begun to realize that I will never be sweet, cute baby she dreamed of. Latter she had 3 kids, and my two sisters were, and still are, nice and cuttling. My brother, on the other side, turned out to be pretty wild. And mother was half satisfied with her children. So was my father, just pleased with the other half.

O.K. that`s the story. Please, can I have my name back. I`d like to be Nena.

Hi, I am new. My name came from the fact I love to quilt. The 27 is my husband's number he used when he was driving a late model race car.

I'm a polar bear. I wear a t-shirt and shorts in sometimes as cold as 28 degrees Fahrenheit weather. I am part Scandinavian. Some people have their first name followed by: the strong, son of Thor, son of Odin, the unwashed(yecch!), the bold, etc. I chose TheWarm due to my resistance to the cold.

Surprise, surprise, I picked my name because of my profession and where I currently live....

so if at some other forums or chat places you talked to "MalaysiaTeacher, ChinaTeacher, SingaporeTeacher, or CaptainCrazy [the nickname of captian morgan rum where i come from] than it was likely me.
