Vista Disc Vista Disc installation

So yeah, heres my story. I bought a brand new desktop from best buy about a month ago with vista home premium. My question is whether or not i can use the operating system disc to upgrade my brothers laptop (with XP pro) to Vista Home premium.Can i use the disc to upgrade other systems? Or will it only work with my computer? :huh:

If your laptop is something like a Dell or an HP or other name brand, the recovery disk will only work on a computer with identical hardware. They are branded to the model that they came with. Using a disk on multiple computers without multiple licenses is also illegal.
