I know this is an old topic I made but someone else was talking about a similar problem on here.

I contacted the seller and he sent me a new drive. I plugged that one in and the exact same error on startup. I found a computer shop locally that still sells new beige 3.5" floppies. I bought one and plugged it in and it starts up as it should do again. I contacted the original seller again and he said "we checked the drive you sent back and it works perfectly", bull.

Now it took me 3 months to get my money back, but I got it in the end. :thumbsup:

Try a USB Floppy drive.

Then you can take your disks EVERYWHERE and play them on anybody's system.

Glad to hear you got your $$$s back. Ebay can be good sometimes but other times it can really stink.
