ddhelp is part of the DirectDraw section in DirectX, eg:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286006
Has it happened more than once? An update of your video drivers will possibly solve the issue. What is the brand and model of your system, if it's a brand name, or if it's generic, the motherboard make & model of you are using onboard video, or the video card if it's a discrete card?
If you don't know this information, then Everest Free Edition or System Information for Windows should provide the necessary information about the system to let you identify the appropriate drivers, or give us enough information so we can point you in the right direction.
