Duplicate Documents Folder document folder duplicates won't go away

I have this same problem with my documents folder. the folder location is wrong and I cant fix it. Windows keeps duplicating the folder but duplicates won't have any files in them and the file location path is never right but I cant fix this, i've tried everything and I lost some files trying to fix the problem so please if someone can halp me I would really appreciate it.

Hi, my problem started out with my "documents" folder under my C:\Users\myuser dir. I thought maybe it was because of Vundo but I'm officially spyware free and virus free and yet my documents folder continues to duplicate itself. In trying to fix this problem I may have made it worse, I don't know. I tried various ways of getting rid of these duplicates and one thing I did was change the location under the location tab of the properties window. now my documents dir is just all messed up and I really don't want to reinstall vista so if someone can help me I would really appreciate it.
