Here is my problem:
In the step Nš14 of the guide ("Disable and reenable System Restore using the instructions found here:") I saw that it wasn't a solution for Win98. Because this option its only for WinME (Managing Windows Millenium Restore)
So Im very sad  . This virus or spyware, I dont know what is it, is destroying my head :flowers: .
Sorry if you dont understand something, Im argentinian and my english is not very well.
So if you can bring me a solution, here is the most happy person in southamerica !
Thanks Thanks

Hello Emiins and welcome to Bleeping Computer. Please don't worry about your english as it is very understandable.

System Restore is handled differently in Windows 98 and should not be a problem unless you need to run a restoration. You have 5 restores points in 98 and they will be gone after a few days and will be replaced with good ones. Be sure you have Scan Registry turned on. To find out Go to Start>Run and type in msconfig and click Ok. Make sure you have a checkmark in front of Scan Registry under the Startup tab.
