The saga continues....
Seamless extraction of the hard drive from the w98 machine. Set it to slave...powered it up....connected by IDE-USB and the drive loaded up....no problem.
Here is where it gets ugly...
Most of the pictures are in a
.cps file extension. This is the proprietary file system for an old Corel program called Corel Photoshop. Of course I no longer have the install CD for the program....that would be too easy. I scoured the net for answers to no avail. No file conversion tools out there that I could find. No current programs recognize that file format. I even downloaded a trial version of the newer Corel software and the files were not recognized!!
Any suggestions?
