Just got a Sony dcr-dvd710 and upon transferring the video into my computer I can do nothing with it.

Unrecognized by Nero and Windows movie maker.

master131,

Thanks for the reply..

I tried the Super 2009 and it would not run (bad file...tried several download locations with my firewall OFF )

EDIT: The seemingly correct website for SUPER© is http://www.erightsoft.net/Superdc.html

Watch out for AVS it is dangled in front of every download link (not that it is less than stellar by any means...just not freeware)

The solution:

When you are ready to work with the video for cutting or adding titles merging with other videos, creating a DVD from multiple videos.

Finalize the DVD in the camera.

Install the finalized DVD into your computer DVD burner/player.

Open your editing software Nero or similar.

Chose make a DVD

Import the files from the video cameras finalized DVD using your Nero or similar
