Funny, I HATE using the keyboard for fast games. Guess my eye-hand- - -or in this case finger---co-ordination is not what it should be.

Funny how people are different. You put me on keyboard + mouse on a 1st person shooter and I am so much better than on the same game in a console.

Xbox is definately better than the ps2! it has much better graphics! n ps2 does not have halo! But i must admit i think the ps3 will be better than the xbox 360!

Xbox gets Halo and so does the PC. The PC Halo would be better because you don't have to pay for online.

Halo 2 will be on PC in about 4 months..... Xbox is PC-lite.... a very very proprietary pc with no keyboard / mouse. I personally have GC and PS2. a lot of Xbox games, esp shooters, are either PC ports, Unreal Tournament, Far Cry, there are a few more i'm missing.... or go from Xbox to PC, Halo, soon Halo 2.... I was listening to a guy in a local electronics' boutique saying how Xbox will revolutionalize gaming with "customizable faceplates" "e-mail" "online gaming" and "web browsing". He was so excited and pumped, until some other guy says.... and I quote: "Dude, PCs have been doing stuff like that for years."
I have to thank Sony and Nintendo for one thing, they don't attempt to cross the line between PCs and Console Systems. --------------------  |

There's nowhere else to go in the console world except to cross that line. About the PS3's 'Blu-Ray' technology... who cares? Do you honestly think anyone will use a full Blu-Ray disc? Nope. They don't even use a full DVD disc currently for console games. http://www.dvd-recordable.org/Article1533-...hreshold0.phtml I say 'Meh' to Blu-ray. It takes a company a year or 2(or more) to make a 6gig game... will you be willing to wait 9 times longer for a game? If so... just don't bother getting the darned PS3 and wait for VR or whatever else comes after that. |

LOL at DamSexy. Look at argument about which console is better and that is ALL xbox owners can come up with. Xbox has the better graphics! And its got Halo! Can we reach point number 3 sometime soon please?
And more to the point, graphics don't matter. Sure, stuff looks all nice and pretty but that doesn't add anything to the gameplay. And the gameplay is whats important right? God knows Halo didn't sell that many copies because of its "amazing" graphics. |

Ps2 all the way. I hate these people with that whole " the graphics are superior" stuff. So what? What good is graphics if you only have a few good games for the system? Here are my pros/cons list:
PS2 Pros- FREE Online gameplay HUGE library of games ( they've been making Playstation games since 1994) Best controller layout One Word: GTA - one of the best games ever for ps2. Plus Xbox users have to wait months. Cons- Graphics (even though they aren't bad) No HALO No Hard Drive for Music (I have to admit that's pretty cool) XBOX Pros- HALO series Hard Drive for music Great graphics Cons- Big Bulky Unit Bad controllers Not alot of games XBOX live costs $ Microsoft is screwing themselves over by releasing the XBOX 360 early. It will turn out like the Sega Dreamcast did. When Sega released the Dreamcast in 1999 they thought they could get a leg up on the competition, but when the ps2 came out in 2001 It blew the dreamcast away so fast Sega had to drop out of the hardware business. Now Microsoft won't go down like that (Bill Gates =$$$) but they should take sonys new blu-ray disk technology a little more seriously. |
