DRIVE disk C appears to be full

i put 2 partition on my notebook's memory.. it been working fine... but lately i noticed that the memory on C: is almost full.. so i checked program fiels.. it's memory consumption is 4.08Gb and WINDOWS memory consumption is 11.5GB the rest of the folder in drive C: are jus few KB's and MB's.. that is why im wondering when i looked at the properties of disk C: it says that 72GB is used and only 5.45 GB is free....

Im running Vista ULTIMATE
Compaq presario
hardisk 160GB, 2 partitions divided in to equal parts

Go to Start and click on Computer.
Right click on each partition and list the used space, free space, and capacity.

here r the memory space on each partition

drive C: used space 71.7 GB
Free space 6.39 GB
TOTAL SIZE: 78.1 GB

files inside drive C:
size on disks:
divx 8.00KB
Program files: 4.42 GB
Users .99GB
WINDOWS 11.7GB
BOOTSECT.BAK 8.00KB
WLcount 4.00KB

(so here is the problem.. there are few files and few GB but it wont reach 71.7GB, when i ryt click Drive C: memory space is almost full)

Drive D:
Space free: 68.7GB
used space: 2.16 GB
total size: 70.9 GB

thanx.. i also follow what is written in this forum: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic137028.html it seems that our problem is almost the same.. so i dload ccleaner.. and more than half of the space in my hard drive are free... thnx much :huh: :huh:
