To do this, go to Start and type in "eventvwr.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Click on the Windows logs entry in the left hand pane, then on the System log that's just below it.
Scroll down by time until you get to the time around when the error occurred - then note any error messages around then.
Then do the same thing for the Application log.
Post the results back here and we'll move on from there.

In the event that this may refer to your video chipset, you should uninstall your video drivers in the Control Panel...Programs applet and reboot to see if that fixes it. If so, then visit the website of the manufacturer of your video chipset and download the latest copy of their approved video drivers.
Also, if you could go back to those errors and double click on them. In the window that opens, be sure you're on the General tab, then click on the copy button in the lower left of that window. That'll give an output that is a bit more understandable.

Beyond this, I'd have to suggest slaving the hard drive to another system so you can recover any data that's accessible.

Scroll down and look for any problems in the Hardware Resources section - and also look at the Problem Devices in the Components section.

Try running SFC.EXE /SCANNOW from the Command Prompt.
Beyond that you'll likely have to slave your hard drive to another system to back your stuff up - then reinstall Vista.
Good luck!
