I started out with Photoshop 7, and I remain with this program. CS is a waste of time really, there's nothing new or exciting except 1 new filter, which you can get the same effect of by using other PS7 filters.
If you'd be more specific in what you'd like it'd help me greatly. Specify: 1. Size (The ones I displayed on this forum are 400x100, which is what I use mainly, or 380x80 for animated sigs) 2. Main colour theme/s (For example, green and gold, or silver and blue, or just blue. If you specify a hex code that's great too, I can work around that colour then) 3. Any stock pictures/photos (If you wanted something in your sig, e.g, a banana you should put in your picture of a banana, I don't want to spend hours looking for a suiable pic when you know exactly what you want and don't) 4. Anything extra (If you have seen a specific effect and you would like to have that efect in your sig then tell me what effect it is and a pic showing an example of this effect) So your post would be like this: 1. Size: 400x100 2. Colours: A mix of silver, and light blue. (If you want to include an exact hex code that's great too) 3. ![]() 4. I want the effect of the green foliage like this in my sig:

Hi luigibob
Have a look at How to take and share a screen shot in Windows . I realize your not thinking screenshots but its the same principle. -------------------- **** We use our powers for good, not evil **** When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to resemble a nail. Abraham Maslo |

WOW you all are doing agreat job at those images. I have been wanting a sig. What I would love to have is my name out lined in keystrokes made really pretty and fancy in different colors like pink and purple.. those are my favorites. But I love all colors. I am wondering if anyone even knows what I mean.

Keystrokes? What do you mean? Show an example of this effect.

No that is not exactly what I mean Scarlett but thank you. Bladerunner ~ What I mean is my name Pandy decorated with keystrokes all around it like *~*~Pandy*~*.. but more fancy and in a pattern with different colors.. like fancy engraving. I have no idea how to describe it so I don't know how to google it for examples. I have seen pretty elaborate once but I cannot recall where I saw them now.

Hey guys, just getting into graphic design as have writers block in software development and thought i'd start trying my hand at GUI work. I have Macromedia Studio MX 2004 professional which has Freehand and Fireworks amongst the rest but i have only used these apps as i have needed them. Should i get Photoshop or are the macromedia products a fair comprimise? I guess really what im asking is should i just stop podering and go out and buy photoshop or test the waters in freehand first? cheers guys, by the way your art is awsome!
