We bought the cable to transfer from the old XP computer and managed to transfer favourites and some other things. However, I cannot see how to transfer outlook express emails and address book.

Would it be better to have transferred all user accounts etc? Should I do that?

Thank you. I'll be back later.

Thank you for your reply.

I am sorry I any not have made it clear that I need to transfer from a desk top XP PC to a vista laptop.

Looking at windows vista just now, it states clearly that outlook express can be transferred from XP to vista. However, it failed to migrate.

It is essential that I am able to not only access but also reply to the emails that I have in outlook express on the desk top PC.

I shall explore the link that you gave. Thanks,

Searching on the internet for help, I have read that some people have been able to transfer them, but others haven't, and some say it is not possible.
Should I give up?
