I have two laptops (1 Toshiba A100 on Xp Pro and 1 Toshiba on Vista Business) and 1 Desktop on Xp Home. The desktop is in the rear of house and both laptops are close together in Granny Flat approx 35mtrs away. We all share the one Internet connection to the IP by LAN via a NetComm NB5Plus4W Modem/Router. The modem/router is near the desk top. (in house). I need to be able to connect my 2 laptops to the router by wireless. Is this possible and if so how do I do it? My Toshiba (Vista Business) is the main computer I work on. No files are shared (or printers). All computers connect to the internet independently.

Yes you can, the router you mentioned has wireless capabilities, so if you know how to connect to a wireless network than you should do just fine .

Yep exactly as response #2 says. Your laptop will have built in wireless adapter so the only reason you won't be able to get on is if you literally have never connected to a wireless network.

Have you gone into your router and set up the wireless?
