autorun ?

hello everybody.

just recieved new laptop (acer aspire 6930 320gb hdd 3gb ram vista home premium))
dowloaded autorun (trying to cleanup startup) ran program. saved it but now nothing i have in pc will open it !
my 1st question is what will open it so i can view it & and start cleanup proccess ?
2nd Q is supposed to be 320 hdd. C:=144 D:=140 wheres the rest ?
3rd running 2 programs tried to view a movie file got error said something like running low on memory close some programs & try again does this sound right?
ps. many questions to come later!!

You need an unzip utility to unzip the compressed file. Autoruns is not self-exttracting, if I remember correctly. You can find some recommendations here:

A little more user-friendly is Codestuff Starter:

Hard drive size is never what they say it is and you probably have a hidden partition with the OS image on it for recovery purposes.

You might have to tweak your pagefile size:

FWIW - You can view the partitions on your hard drive by going to Start and typing in "diskmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and pressing Enter.

there are looks like 4 partitions

ACER (C:) 144.04 GB NTFS
DATA (D:) 140.50 GB NTFS
& 2 other ones unnamed with a total of 13.54 GB & no file system ?
