When I turn the PC on it goes the the HP INVENT blue screen..then it goes to the black screen wtih the cursor blinking in the left hand corner..then to a blank screen with the "no analog signal"...then it loops back again to the HP Invent screen and continues this cycle. I cannot get into BIOS. The keyboard has no effect.

I switched out hard drives and still have the same problem..

Any suggestions

Thanks,

Can you boot into safe mode? Restart your computer, gently tap the F8 key, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the <Enter> key.
Does the monitor display correctly in safe mode?

No... I tried this first.... the pf keys do nothing... Even on the HP INVENT screen the esc or the pf keys do not stop the system from looping.
