Mcafee not letting me fully operate itunes

For some reason when i try to connect my ipod to my itunes a message comes up saying, "ipod service module error". I called comcast and they said it had to do with my firewall (mcafee) and something called the 44 thousand keys. i have absolutly no clue what to do. Please help!

PS: I am using windows xp.

may or may not be McAfee...never heard of 44 thousand keys and a net search turned up zilch, but I did find the error...

Apple: iPod not detected in iTunes (multi fix)

try the suggestions and post back what happens
