The motherboard im getting supports DD1200, would you recommend getting DDR1066 over getting DD1200? DDR1066 memory will work with the board right?

I think you will be fine. A main thing to look at is the voltage of the ram, and generally 1200mhz ram runs at about 2.1V-2.3V. I would recommend getting 1066mhz ram that runs at a similar voltage of around 2.1V. Also, to be on the safe side you should do as SLIX suggested and check the compatible types of ram with your motherboard.
