processor upgrade

i have a a8ae-le motherboard and purchaed a amd athlon 64 x2 socket 939 motherboard.i recently updated my pc bios from hp from version 3.07 to 3.15.i was wandering if i can use the fan that came with my processor or do i need another one.the fan is located on top of the cpu.

Unless your overclocking your processor, or running some processor intensive applications, your stock heatsink/fan should be sufficient.
