Is there a way to lock folders in vista home edition? to keep files private from nosy guests using my comp

I was wondering if there's a way or maybe a free program that would allow me to securely lock/encrypt folders. I have Vista premium home edition. Thanks

I've never tried it, but there are instructions here:

I would save that password some where other than on you computer!
